Instructor Bio – Sandy Kennedy Gribbin

Sandy earned a Master of Arts degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and currently works full-time as an exercise physiologist at Merck and Co. in West Point, PA. She is also a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and aerobics instructor from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).

Sandy completed her Highland Dance teacher’s certification through the British Association of Teachers of Dance at the age of 16 and has enjoyed teaching dancers of all ages and abilities for the last eleven years. Her enthusiasm for dance is boundless, as she is rewarded by seeing her students strive for their personal best. In 2007, Sandy and her husband relocated to Chester Springs, PA, at which time she was pleased to join the Reid School of Highland Dance as Co-Director. She continues to train and compete as a Scottish highland dancer under the instruction of the Director, Linda Reid Tarpy.

Mixing it up for Friday night we will have 2 -45 min Hip Hop Dance sessions with KEO!

Hailing from The Bronx, New York, KEO has over twenty years of experience as a dancer and instructor. KEO started training at the age of 16 in different styles of dance ranging from Popping, Locking, and Break-dancing. He has trained with original generation funk and street dance masters. He is also a member of the International Urban Dance Masters Association and currently teaches at Dansarts Studio in Audubon, PA.

He’ll be bringing a few students to mix into the crowd so that every one will have someone to follow.
